People around the world are fascinated with Egypt’s history. The country’s visually stunning landscapes and ageless monuments make it an ideal location for the work of photographers and filmmakers, who often find Egypt’s antiquities to be an invaluable source of inspiration. Ancient sites throughout the country and the priceless objects in Egypt’s museums have been the subjects of countless exquisite photographs and entertaining and informative films.

The MSA welcomes artists and entertainment professionals, from individuals to major motion picture companies, to feature historical monuments and museums in their work. In order to protect Egypt’s antiquities from damage and exploitation, commercial photography and filmmaking are carefully regulated.
