Lotus Pendant of Queen Mereret

This larger-than-actual size model duplicates a small pendant of gold inlaid with semi-precious stones. The design is of a lotus flower out of which grows an arrangement of flowers in different colors. The pendant was originally discovered in the tomb of Queen Mereret in the funerary complex of Senwosret III, at Dahshur.
