Statue of Thutmose III This statue, discovered in the Karnak cachette in 1904, depicts King Thutmose III wearing the royal nemes headdress and a kilt. Considered the greatest warrior-king in Egyptian history, he stretched the borders of the Egyptian empire to their greatest extent, and was also responsible for many important monuments. |
